Juicer can extract albums from damaged libraries. Apples iPhoto stores photo albums as aliases to the original photos in its library. This is useful for image recovery, or for reading images stored in file formats created by applications you don't have. When Juicer finds images of a kind it recognizes, it extracts and stores them in a new folder on the Desktop. You can search single files or in folders of files at once. PDF files contain images, which can be extracted, as PDF and JPEG. Like most text editing applications can search a text file for a word, Juicer can search inside any file format for images of the types: JPEG, PNG, GIF, PDF, BMP and SWF.
